Job summary

System One is seeking a Software Developer in Oklahoma City to design, develop, test, and maintain software using C# and .NET. You will build web apps, APIs, and backend services, collaborating with analysts, PMs, and fellow developers to refine requirements and deliver high-quality code.

Required 7+ years of C#/.NET experience, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and Git. Azure knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and Agile practices are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of C# and .NET development experience.
• Strong ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API skills.
• Experience with SQL Server and DB design.
• Proficient in OOP, design patterns, and SDLC.
• Git experience and familiarity with CI/CD.
• Azure cloud services knowledge is required.
• Experience with Angular/React/Vue.js is a plus.

Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

NOTE:

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET frameworks (.NET Core/.NET 6+).
• Build and enhance web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather and refine requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support deployments and application monitoring.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API development.
• Experience with SQL Server and database design.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
