Responsibilities

  • Applies experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities to support program and project operations.
  • Contributes to the design of software tools and subsystems that enable reuse and support domain analysis.
  • Supports the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet system user needs.
  • Supports systems analysts and/or designers by researching and documenting computer user requirements.
  • Reviews objectives and issues identified by analysts and/or designers.
  • Converts solutions developed by systems designers into detailed programming specifications.
  • Helps prepare documentation for programmers, system users, and other support services personnel.
  • Supports program design activities, including defining data structures and error message configurations.
  • Assists in updating and documenting program code to resolve defects or improve application functionality.
  • Supports application testing and helps prepare reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications for customer use.

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
