Job summary

Emcube Technologies Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Senior Software Developer Contractor to lead data engineering initiatives. The role focuses on implementing medallion architecture using Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric, building robust data pipelines and securing data access.

The contractor will deliver a thin-slice POC, leverage OneLake and Fabric Notebooks, and transfer knowledge to the client team to enable rapid adoption and operational success.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Senior Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric expertise.
• Experience building medallion architecture and data pipelines.
• Ability to transfer knowledge to client teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion layers and pipelines using Fabric Notebooks and Dataflow Gen2.
• Configure Fabric security, including RBAC, RLS/OLS, and data-classification-based access.
• Develop end-to-end data products, validate solutions via POCs, and provide implementation guidance.

Senior Azure Data Factory/Microsoft Fabric Engineer to implement medallion architecture, data pipelines, security controls, and semantic models.
The role will deliver a thin-slice POC, build data products using OneLake, Notebooks, and Dataflow Gen2, and enable the client team through knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion layers and build pipelines using Fabric Notebooks and Dataflow Gen2.
• Configure Fabric security, including RBAC, RLS/OLS, data classification-based access, and Power BI report access.
