Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the design and enhancement of ProTrans International supply chain systems. The role is hybrid, requiring collaboration with business analysts and QA to translate requirements into technical designs and code.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in CS (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience, with strong C#/.NET, HTML/CSS/JS, ORM usage (EF/Dapper), SQL Server, and unit testing, plus familiarity with Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.

About the Job:

Our Software Developer will be responsible for the development and improvement of our ProTrans International supply chain management systems.

Location: Hybrid

What You'll Be Doing:

• Contributing to the architectural design of any new/redesign projects.
• Maintaining production applications written in C#, .NET Core, OOP, ASP.Net, Kendo UI, jQuery, Entity Framework and SQL Server.
• Managing projects within Agile SDLC using Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrating an excellent understanding of .Net framework, OOP, SQL Database concepts.
• Interacting with business analyst and quality assurance departments to understand business requirements in order to complete technical design documents, coding, unit testing and implementation of projects.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, the team and the company.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Technology or equivalent from four-year college or university and/or 3+ years related experience and/or training in computer programming.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and clearly.
• Ability to read, interpret and write technical documentation.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to work with a collaborative and open concept environment with a multifunctional team.

What You'll Need for Success:
