Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Software Developer to contribute to the design and enhancement of ProTrans International supply chain systems. The role is hybrid, requiring collaboration with business analysts and QA to translate requirements into technical designs and code.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in CS (or equivalent) and 3+ years of experience, with strong C#/.NET, HTML/CSS/JS, ORM usage (EF/Dapper), SQL Server, and unit testing, plus familiarity with Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from four-year college or university, plus 3+ years related experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Ability to read, interpret and write technical documentation
• Proficiency with probability, statistics, geometry and trigonometry concepts
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical tasks
• Ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural design of new or redesign projects
• Maintain production apps built on C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and SQL Server
• Manage projects within Agile SDLC using Azure DevOps
• Demonstrate strong understanding of .NET framework, OOP, and SQL concepts
• Interact with business analysts and QA to translate requirements into design and code
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance performance and team output
