PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Job Functions

• Develop new software or enhance existing code; test and debug as required.
• Understand business applications, user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
• Collaborate with technical staff to diagnose and resolve software issues.
• Respond to customer complaints and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Assist in creating software user manuals.
• Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training; automate application and configuration deployments and updates.

Qualifications

Required Skills / Experience

• 6 years of experience.
• TypeScript 2, PostgreSQL preferred (or other relational database experience); .NET for back end; Vue or a modern JavaScript framework for front end.
• Travel: 10%.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SCI poly required; ability to maintain this level of clearance during employment.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).
