Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Software Developer in Herndon, Virginia, to support mission-essential applications within an Agile Team. The developer will work with Python and web-based applications on cloud platforms, focusing on coding, testing, and maintaining software solutions.

Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of Software Development experience and strong skills in Typescript, React, Next.js, and Python. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is mandatory for this role.

Overview of Opportunity

Two Six Technologies is hiring a Software Developer to support the customer's mission-essential applications within an Agile Team. The developer will be responsible for the development and support of Python web‑based applications hosted on cloud computing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy new code and efficient software solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high‑quality and reusable code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application, including performance optimization and error handling
• Provide continuous maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
• Provide customer support for software systems and application issues
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our application

Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of Software Development experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

Strong proficiency in Typescript, React and Next.js

Strong proficiency in Python

Security Clearance

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
