Job summary

VECTOR North America is seeking a Software Developer to join the PCT-lint Plus Team in Rhode Island. You will collaborate with the software architect to align new functionality with customer objectives and contribute as both an individual and team member.

The role emphasizes C++ and Python development, OO design pattern implementation, and experience with clang internals and STL. You will prototype, test, and translate requirements into solid software solutions.

Job description

• Prototype new product functionality and present findings


• Implement functionality using C++ and Python


• Test creation as needed


• Work as an individual contributor and a member of a team

Requirements

• Experience developing software with C++


• Demonstrated professional expertise in understanding and implementing OO design patterns


• Demonstrated ability to translate architect requirements into elegant designs


• Experience with clang internals and/or static analysis


• Experience with the C++ Standard Template Library STL


• Excellent problem-solving skills


• Experienced with using the debugger and debugging tools


• Ability to learn quickly and work independently


• Ability to quickly identify and acquire information necessary for solving problem


• B.S. in Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using embedded compilers and debuggers
