Design Ready Controls seeks a software engineer to debug, code, and implement feature updates in established desktop and web-based applications. You will support the company’s strategic systems, writing code and testing across multiple layers and platforms.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the team to plan new applications, producing documentation, and ensuring quality through unit tests. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years of development is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 2+ years of development experience.
• Experience in .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• MVC/MVVM and Entity Framework knowledge.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Android, and Java is a plus.

Debug, code, and implement feature updates and enhancements in established software programs and applications (including web applications) to support the company’s strategic business objectives and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Code, test and debug programs using appropriate programming languages and databases.
• Provides support by maintaining and modifying existing applications. This includes fixing bugs reported by users and adding new features.
• Write and design new program code for both desktop and web-based applications to satisfy a defined feature list.
• Write and maintain programming documentation. This includes in-code documentation and user guides.
• Work with software development team to architect and plan new desktop and web-based applications.
• Create unit tests to confirm the functionality of code.
• Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.

Education | Experience

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent software development experience
• 2+ years of development experience
• Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
• Experience in .NET. C# and ASP.NET required. Experience in the following .NET technologies is useful: MVC,MVVM, Entity Framework
• Additional knowledge in any of the following is useful: HTML, JavaScript, Android, Java

• Strong written and oral Communication Skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Salary :$73,500 - $85,000 annually DOE
