Role: Software Developer

Rate: $60/hr. C2C

Location: Austin, TX (100% Remote anywhere in the USA)

Visa: USC/GC/EAD/H4/TN

Duration: 12+ months

Client: Texas Education Agency (TEA)

Must have at least 1 year of experience in the public sector (state client).

Experience with education clients is a must.

Job Description / Minimum Requirements:

• Implement, customize, and maintain Microsoft .NET Core, .NET Framework applications & Angular front-end development.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft technologies including C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server (SSMS).
• Develop and maintain Web APIs using .NET Core with understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Design and maintain database schemas; proficient in SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core for ORM-based database operations.
• Experience with TypeScript, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience writing integration and unit tests for APIs and front-end applications.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure.
• Design and develop SSRS and Crystal Reports.
• Good communication skills and a team player.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must meet or exceed the listed skills and experience; otherwise, they may not be considered for the role.

• 8+ years of experience with Framework proficiency.
• Strong proficiency in MS-SQL database development and management.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in Core for building RESTful APIs.

• Experience writing unit tests using nUnit framework.
• Basic knowledge of Azure cloud services.
