Job summary

Amazon Security is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join the Hardware Supply Chain Security team in Austin, TX. You will design, build, and maintain security-focused software that protects AWS hardware, firmware, and global infrastructure.

You will lead tooling for firmware analysis, vulnerability assessment, and automated security testing while mentoring teammates and delivering scalable solutions at AWS scale.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
  • Experience with multi-tiered, distributed software using Java/C++/C# and object-oriented design.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain tools for firmware analysis, security testing, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Design and develop security applications to protect AWS hardware and firmware.
  • Architect scalable, automated tools for security assessment and compliance.
