Our team owns route creation for the Sub‑Same Day delivery business. Sub‑Same Day is the fastest full-scale click to delivery service that Amazon offers retail customers processing tens of thousands of packages every day in countries around the world. The scale of the team is massive and problems we work on are complex in the pursuit of ever faster delivery with greater efficiency.
4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, or 5+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
