Amazon Inc. is seeking an SDE I to join the Zamboni team, delivering NAWS-based automation for Glacier storage fleet operations. You will build and operate services that span from firmware deployment to fleet health monitoring, impacting infrastructure used globally.

Expect hands-on systems work across the stack, collaborating with hardware partners and internal teams, with on-call rotations and a focus on scalable solutions that reduce toil and improve reliability.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate NAWS-based services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS) that automate Glacier fleet operations including firmware deployment, monitoring, and remediation
• Contribute to automation projects that reduce manual toil and improve reliability
• Build and maintain operator tooling and Fleet Commander integrations for safe fleet operations
• Collaborate with hardware vendors and other S3/Glacier teams to bridge software and hardware
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive improvements to reduce toil in production
• Write high-quality Java/Python/Go code with infrastructure defined in CDK
