Software Dev Engineer II, Cross Border Tech

Cross Border expansions team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to work on our Cross Border technology stacks, which enable launching new Cross Border features with local language, currency, and payments, as well as building new features and enhancements. The Cross Border strategy and roadmap are among the most important initiatives at Amazon. You will design, architect, and develop innovative technology solutions that reduce time to market, standardize execution, and support global expansion. You will build, operate, and play a key role in evolving our platform to address complex technical challenges in areas such as Information Extraction, Large-scale Computing, Distributed Systems, Web Applications, Data Mining, Scalability, Security, and Algorithms. You will strive for simplicity and demonstrate creativity and sound judgment. You will also work on stabilizing daily operations, improving build and testing processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational software and security standards.

• 2+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
