Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team in Seattle for a software development and support role. You will provide first-line support for the Client mobile shopping app, perform QA/testing, and assist with release management.

The role involves identifying automation opportunities, developing monitoring tools, and debugging code in Perl, C/C++, and Java. Strong communication and CS degree are required.

Qualifications

• Computer Science or equivalent technical degree required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience required.
• Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support and development for all incoming software application issues related to the Client mobile shopping app.
• Perform QA testing and release-management support for the release and mobile beta release teams.
• Identify automation opportunities and create and implement automated solutions, including developing monitoring tools, troubleshooting/debugging internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java), and executing SQL queries.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate support processes and document system requirements.
