Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Software Database Engineer to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on AI-focused projects, specifically in data engineering and analysis, to support the development of recommendation engines for the commercial sales team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, explore data systems, and design architecture to support cross-functional requirements.

In this role you will:

• Design and implement architecture for software, hardware, and communications systems
• Ensure compliance with IT architecture standards and provide for future integration needs
• Lead discovery analysis and data engineering for AI initiatives and business solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve workflow problems and streamline operations
• Provide supervision and technical leadership to staff on data modeling and transformation

The Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and transformation.
• 5+ years of experience with Data Lake architecture and data management.
• Strong technical planning skills, including experience in software design and development.
• Proficiency in working with machine learning models and AI tools (nice to have).
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and managing vendor evaluations.
