Alpine is seeking to add a Software Consultant in Texas, preferably in the Dallas/Fort Worth or Austin regions. The role involves maintaining existing customers and supporting new business by providing demonstrations and technical assistance. The Software Consultant will be assigned to a territory, serving as the key technical advisor in consulting and educating customers on Alpine’s proprietary software suite.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner with customers within the territory to maximize their use of Alpine software and improve business operations.
• Maintain existing customers and support new opportunities through demonstrations and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with sales on new account acquisitions.
• Evaluate plant operations of prospects to identify how Alpine software can increase productivity and reduce paperwork.
• Manage technical projects including initial installation, business rule files, and software training, transitioning support to the Help Desk team.
• Act as a Software Expert for escalated and complex requests within the territory.
• Introduce customers to new software features.
• Work with territory salespeople on customer priorities.
• Build rapport and develop lasting relationships with customer staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software development to address market needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, or Construction Management (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in construction technology (preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience with technical software implementation (preferred).
• Experience in the truss industry (preferred).
• Experience interacting with customers in service or support roles.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to stakeholders.
• Proven motivation, results-driven attitude, and self-starting capability.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 70%.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
