Job summary

Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SIWS) in Seal Beach, California seeks a Software Configuration Management professional to support the ESS – MPA Phase 3 program, contingent on program award. Responsibilities include reviewing docs, managing CM records, and coordinating with procurement and subcontractors.

The role requires an active Secret security clearance and CM experience. Relocation to Seal Beach may be required; bachelor’s degree and NDIA certification are assets.

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required.
• 1+ year (level 2) or 3+ years (level 3) CM experience.
• Willing to relocate to Seal Beach, CA at own expense.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; NDIA certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review software documentation for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
• Oversee configuration control of software work products.
• Generate Software CM records as evidence of adherence to Software CM plans and Boeing standards.
• Verify accuracy of software deliveries, both internal and external.
• Support Change Boards.
• Respond to internal audits and customer queries.
• Review contracts and modifications to establish CDRL and SDRL.
• Input submittal schedules and metadata into a data tracking system.
• Work with Procurement and Subcontractors to ensure timely data submittals.
