BETA Technologies is seeking a Software Configuration Management Lead to drive FAA-compliant configuration management for full aircraft software development. You will partner with Airworthiness, Engineering, Production and Quality to define, trace, and audit software configurations across the lifecycle.
This role leads PRB/CRB processes, grows the CM team, and ensures software change management meets schedule and safety standards, with onsite Vermont operations and competitive compensation.

The Software Configuration Management Lead is responsible for ensuring aircraft configuration compliance with FAA and industry requirements. Beta is looking for a Software Configuration Management expert to lead the development of all necessary systems and processes that will drive us forward as an Aerospace OEM. The Lead will work closely with the Airworthiness, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to implement and operate configuration control processes for full aircraft development of software systems. They will administer the regular meeting and agenda of the Problem Resolution (PRB) and Change Review Boards (CRB). This person will work as a focal point with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure that the software configuration of all aircraft products is fully defined, traceable, and auditable for the complete lifecycle of all developed aircraft.
$130,000 - $150,000 USD
