North Point Technology is looking to hire a Software Configuration Management Analyst to join our team. The qualified candidate must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will develop and maintain software configuration management tools that support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. The ideal candidate has strong experience across software configuration and release management and thrives coordinating with cross‑functional engineering teams to keep products on schedule and audit‑ready.
This position supports software configuration management across the full product lifecycle. Duties include developing and maintaining software configuration management tools; performing configuration change management along with records, release, and data management; analyzing proposed hardware and software changes to determine their effect on the overall product and system; and performing release engineering tasks to ensure new software products are documented, compliant with standard configurations, and logistically sustainable. The analyst maintains the Software Configuration Management System, including code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products to operational environments, while interfacing frequently with cross‑functional leads, engineers, and internal and external contacts to achieve program objectives on schedule.
For positions requiring a federal security clearance, your clearance level must be clearly identified on your resume.
