Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking an Associate Software Configuration Management Analyst to support the AEGIS project in Moorestown, NJ. The role involves managing CI/CD processes, troubleshooting build issues, and coordinating release activities for large-scale C++ and Java software.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or higher, 0–2 years of CM/DevOps experience, and familiarity with Git/CM tools. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US government secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a Build/Release Engineering, Configuration Management, or DevOps role.
• Experience with C++ or Java programming.
• Experience compiling and releasing large-scale software systems in Unix-like environments (CMake, gcc/g++, Java; Ada experience preferred).
• Experience administering git version control systems; git command-line experience required; Bitbucket/GitHub/GitLab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with large software teams to manage CI/CD processes for builds and releases in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot build issues with build tools, compilers, linkers, Makefiles, XML files for large C++/Java programs.
• Coordinate build schedules with stakeholders, system developers, integrators, and deployment teams to ensure synchronized delivery.
• Track software build versions, configurations, and deployment packages to ensure accurate release baselines.
• Compile, validate, and stage complete build packages for installation, including binaries, configs, scripts, and docs.
• Serve as central liaison between software engineering, integration, testing and hardware teams to ensure synchronization.
• Use UNIX/Linux scripting to interface with build tools and automate the build process.
• Use Git or ClearCase to manage developer workflow and delivery.
