Software Automation Lead at Element Materials Technology

The Element Materials Technology Cellular CT Division seeks an experienced Software Automation Lead to drive automation and systematization of our software development processes.

Pay Range

Base pay: $187,000.00/yr – $225,000.00/yr

Overview

We are a world leader in test and certification services for mobile radio devices. In this pivotal role you will lead a team of developers, drive automation, build robust data platforms, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams to enhance lab efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and professional development.
  • Systematize code base to mitigate single points of failure, ensuring resilience and scalability.
  • Own critical software development projects, leveraging full‑stack expertise with a strong emphasis on Python.
  • Foster a vibrant, progressive developer culture within the Cellular CT Division.
  • Collaborate across teams, engaging customers in open, solution‑oriented discussions.
  • Assess technical options for cost, resource implications, and alignment with operational efficiency.
  • Drive automation initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce manual interventions.
  • Oversee data management strategies, including design and implementation of large‑scale data platforms.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering products.
  • Strong expertise in automation and building scalable systems.
  • Proficiency in data management and large‑scale data platforms.
  • Full‑stack development experience focused on Python; hardware/device automation a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Technical acumen for evaluating options and making strategic decisions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
