Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking a Software Automation & Integration Engineer to join its technology team and drive automation projects from development to live deployment. You will develop automated testing solutions, validate software integrations, and ensure systems perform reliably before production environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in automation, intralogistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems, industrial automation, or material handling equipment.
• Exposure to simulation, emulation, commissioning, or system integration testing.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and software validation tools.
• Design scalable automation solutions using C# and/or Java.
• Create, execute, and manage automated test scenarios across simulation, test, and live environments.
• Build and maintain regression testing suites throughout the project lifecycle.
• Validate integrations between software applications, control systems, and operational technologies.
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot issues, and support defect resolution activities.
• Collaborate with development and integration teams to improve software quality and performance.
• Support commissioning, deployment, and go-live activities at customer locations.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
