Job summary

Intel's Foundry Automation group is seeking an experienced Software Application Development Engineer for Government Programs to join on-site in the US. You will work on end-to-end software development, from requirements gathering with customers and PMs to design, implementation, testing, and production release in a manufacturing environment.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, with emphasis on automation software, CI/CD, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain TS security clearance and SCI access.
• Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with programming in C#, .NET, .NET Core, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with modern CI/CD platforms, and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation software for Intel's Manufacturing Factories.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and PM to understand requirements and design solutions.
• Develop software, document/automate tests, review designs, code, and test cases; perform testing and release to production.
