Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineering Group Manager within AMG Technology to lead an architecture team focused on data, automation, and AI. This role will translate AMG business priorities into practical technology strategies and delivery roadmaps while collaborating with business and technology leaders across the bank.

The ideal candidate will drive target-state architectures, governance, and reusable patterns, ensuring security, privacy, and compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading architecture or senior engineering teams.
Strong depth in data architecture, intelligent automation, AI/ML, or solution architecture.
Experience creating data strategies, target-state architectures, integration patterns, and roadmaps.
Ability to translate business capabilities into technology decisions and roadmaps.
Knowledge of financial services, wealth/asset management, risk controls, and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead an AMG-aligned architecture team focused on data, automation, and AI.
Define architecture direction and reusable patterns for AMG portfolios.
Ensure architecture decisions address security, privacy, scalability, and compliance.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and control functions to meet policies.
Communicate architecture decisions clearly to executives and practitioners.
