Peregrine Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Architect V to lead the design, development, and implementation of high-level software architectures for complex enterprise projects. This senior role requires deep technical leadership and the ability to translate business needs into scalable systems.

You will develop platform architectures, guide evolution of existing systems, and manage technical projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software design, development, and architecture.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex software architectures.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, architectural principles, protocols, and interfaces.
• Experience with Java and React-based development and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-level architectures and specifications for platform configurations, subsystems, protocols, and interfaces.
• Leads evolution of existing systems toward target architectures.
• Coordinates technical project management, requirements gathering, timelines, and release scheduling with stakeholders.
• Ensures developers have resources and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with Business Process team and owners to align deliveries.

Summary

The Software Architect V is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-level software architectures for complex projects and enterprise systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Develops and implements high level project architectures - specifications for platform configurations, subsystem specifications, protocols, and interfaces
• Supports, develops, and implements evolution of existing systems into target architectures
• Technical Project Management
  • Will utilize project management tools to coordinate and plan development work
  • Meet regularly with the business owner team to report progress, set priorities and coordinate requirements gathering
  • Gather requirements
  • Help develop timelines
  • Ensure developers are available to develop software to meet those timelines
  • Coordinate with Business Process team to obtain User Acceptance and Release scheduling

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Proven experience developing and implementing complex software architectures
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, architectural principles, protocols, and interfaces
• Application Development
  • Utilize Java, Javascript (REACT) to develop the tools
  • Understand Git and GitHUB to continuously integrate and deploy software
  • Develop the processes using an Event Source software architecture
  • Understand Cloud-native infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software design, development, and architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
