Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking an Associate Architect – Software Developer to architect, build, and optimize scalable Java-based web applications within a microservices architecture. You will lead the full software development lifecycle from design and API implementation to testing and performance optimization using Spring Boot and React/Angular.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, remote Canada work in EST, and a strong focus on high-performance, maintainable code with modern best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Java software across large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with backend microservices using Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Relational databases with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Strong test-driven development and automated testing practices.
• Experience with Generative AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Proficient in Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog and New Relic.
• CI/CD familiarity (e.g., Jenkins).
