Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Princeton, NJ is $152,131 - $181,300 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave, paid parental leave, PTO (for non-exempt employees) or non-accrued flexible vacation (for exempt employees).

Duties: Participate in industrial software development and research project across industries, including factory automation, mobility applications, smart grids, and building automation. Liaise with business units and researchers across the business globally to understand industrial use case requirements. Derive requirements from vague problem statements. Design and implement prototype architectures. Using internal architecture of cloud and container systems, including orchestration and scheduling.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Architect-related occupation. Position requires 24 months of experience in the following: Working with C++, C#, .net, Java, and TypeScript; Developing and deploying cloud-based applications on at least two of the following public cloud providers: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure; Working with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technology; Working with Infrastructure-as-Code and Terraform; CI/CD pipeline building; Utilizing test frameworks and BDD/TDD testing; Database engineering with both SQL and NoSQL; Developing web (with AngularJS and ReactJS) and desktop (WPF) frontends. Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policy. 20% Domestic and International travel is required.
