Job Overview

Responsibilities

1. Lead the architecture and development of LXD and MicroCloud.
2. Mentor and develop team members.
3. Develop in Golang and C.
4. Review code to ensure quality and security.
5. Maintain product performance and security standards.
6. Provide technical leadership within Canonical and the broader community.
7. Work remotely with biannual global travel for company events.

Qualifications

• Exceptional academic record and a degree in Computer Science or STEM.
• Experience in Golang and C programming.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, APIs, storage, networking, virtualization, and container technologies.
• Experience with distributed systems and Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
