Job summary

Elite Enterprise Resources in Albany, NY is seeking a Software Architect 2 on a 2-year contract to maintain eProcess workflows, configure and develop new ones, and design/develop Datacap and IBM Content Navigator.

The role requires strong FileNet eProcess experience and collaboration with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including Java API development and WebSphere deployments.

Qualifications

Software Architect 2- Job ID #HBITS-04-03371Albany, NY, United States/ 2 Year Contract

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the eProcess workflows, configuring and developing new ones; the design and development of Datacap and IBM Content Navigator. Must have experience in FileNet eProcess.

Responsibilities

This position will develop and/or maintain system documentation including business requirements, training plans, test plans, quality assurance and contingency operations plans, and reports. This individual will be expected to provide expertise and hands-on participation in the following activities:

• Elicit business system requirements using one or more of the following methods: analyze current processes, interview users, conduct JAD sessions or group meetings, review/analyze existing documentation or system artifacts.
• Analyze and document business processes (both ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes) utilizing business process mapping tools to effectively document the processes for the customer.
• Develop or maintain system requirements in detailed, clear and well organized functional documents (business requirements documents, business or system use cases, reports) and/or process flow diagrams
• Develop or maintain test plans and detailed test cases. Develop and revise, as required, training or user acceptance testing plans.
• Execute functional and system tests, including regression tests. Coordinate user acceptance testing.by tracking and managing end user testing efforts
• Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, performing retesting as required.
• Development or revision of existing user guides, quick reference guides and/or other help files for the end user community

Required Skills

• 3 years experience in IBM FileNet eProcess (Business Process Manager) and developing workflows.
• 3 years experience writing and developing Java FileNet Application Program Interface (API).
• 3 years experience working directly with customers or business analyst to identify their business processes, rules, and application user requirements.
• 3 years experience in Web technologies, including J2EE Application Servers (specifically WebSphere),
• 3 years experience deploying Enterprise Content Management P8 applications in N-Tier environment.
• 1 year experience in IBM Content Navigator
• 2 years experience with developing, deploying and supporting IBM Datacap applications.
