Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a Software Architect to design and develop new software products and enhance existing systems. The ideal candidate will have over five years of relevant experience and necessary certifications, along with a security clearance. This position is fully remote but may require occasional on-site meetings in the Washington, D.C. area.

Job Title: Software Architect

Location: Washington D.C. (Fully Remote)

Eligibility:

Candidate must be a US Citizen with a (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3).

Job Description:

Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.

Minimum Experience:

1. Five (5) years relevant experience.
2. Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
3. Must possess (Formerly IT-II) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance and Tier 3 investigation (T3) at the time of proposal submission.
4. IAT Level II or 8140.03 equivalent certification(s).

Preferred Skills:

1. 5+ years supporting DLA.
2. Experience using DLA Enterprise DevSecOps for IaaS.
3. Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD.
4. Experience using GitHub for configuration change management.

Place of Performance:

The primary place of performance will be at the contractor’s location and/or Off-Site. Personnel shall be available to periodically support meetings at HQ DLA (Fort Belvoir, VA) or other places within the Washington, DC metropolitan or Richmond, VA areas.

Period of Performance:

The period of performance (POP) shall be for twelve (12) months, starting from August 7, 2025, through August 6, 2026, with four optional 12-month extensions.
