Job summary

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) seeks a Software Architect to design and develop new software products and major enhancements, ensuring integration and compatibility across multiple platforms. Position Summary Nationwide IT Services, NIS, seeks a Software Architect to design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing software. This role addresses systems integration, compatibility, and operation across multiple platforms, takes responsibility for project completion, and performs feasibility analyses to help management evaluate potential future projects. This fully remote role supports all task areas. This position is contingent upon contract award and funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing applications.
• Address systems integration challenges and resolve compatibility issues across multiple platforms.
• Develop software architecture and technical approaches that support integration and cross-platform operation.
• Take responsibility for completing assigned software projects and delivering the planned technical solution.
• Analyze the feasibility of potential future projects and present findings to management to support planning and decisions.

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of relevant experience.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, Category IAT Level I.

Salary range $185,000 to $200,000 annuallyThe salary range is a general guideline. We consider several factors when determining base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, and skills, and current market conditions.
