Job Description:

CANDIDATES MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE AND WORK AS A W2/USC.

The position is for a Software Applications Test Engineer in the SA Team with the following details:

• Job Number: 2074292
• Level: E4
• Clearance: Secret

Qualifications include a Technical Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science) or significant professional experience. A Master's degree is highly desired.

Required experience includes:

• Prior experience in Agile development processes
• Testing and verifying software requirements
• Data analysis and action plan development
• Documenting software deficiencies
• Presenting analysis results
• Security+ certification (or similar) within 60 days of start; highly preferred at start

Desired skills include automated testing, performance verification, ICD/interface requirement verification, experience in DevSecOps, and strong communication skills.

This role involves participation in software design reviews, test specification development, executing manual and automated tests, and analyzing software in an integrated environment. Occasional travel to Colorado Springs and Huntsville, AL, is required.
