UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Applications Specialist (Power Platform) opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Position: Software Applications Specialist I (Power Platform)

Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled professional for an in-office position in Aiken, SC. This role involves architecting, building, and implementing collaboration solutions to leverage Microsoft 365 GCC High Power Platform capabilities. The ideal candidate is a Power Automate Workflow developer with comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Scope

The Specialist I possesses deep knowledge within a specific IT area, applying it to diverse assignments. This role may involve collaboration with customers, vendors, consultants, and management to drive results. It supports workflow-related IT projects and may guide other IT staff.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes, including documentation, to ensure timely project completion.
  2. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and align solutions with organizational goals.
  3. Lead project status meetings, confirm milestones, and ensure objectives are met.
  4. Assist in designing, testing, and deploying workflow development software projects under senior guidance.
  5. Ensure Power Platform solutions meet end-user needs with a customer-focused approach.
  6. Contribute to enterprise-level software application development and coding.
  7. Participate in issue identification and solution development discussions to optimize solutions.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools.
  9. Communicate project updates effectively and escalate issues as needed.
  10. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to software development.
  11. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
  12. Suggest process improvements and innovative solutions.
  13. Engage in training and knowledge-sharing activities.
  14. Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion principles.
  15. Ensure compliance with IT policies, data privacy, cybersecurity, and safety standards.
  16. Support company policies on health, safety, environmental, and sustainability practices.
  17. Develop core skills and possibly travel for business needs.
  18. Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Four-year degree in a relevant field and 5 years of related experience, or a total of 9 years of experience without a degree.
  • Effective communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the role.
  • Ability to learn and apply applicable legal and regulatory standards.
  • Attention to detail and efficiency in work.
Other Job Requirements
  • Proof of US citizenship.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Applications in GCC High Tenant, including SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Dataverse, and Data Compliance tools.
  • Experience transforming legacy SharePoint workflows to modern Power Automate flows.
  • Knowledge of Government Compliance, Data Security, NIST 800-171, CMMC, and related standards.
  • Experience with data and document management workflows, engineering and construction processes, and software support activities.
  • Skills in requirements gathering, data analysis, change management, and incident ticketing.
Working Conditions

Primarily office-based or remote with adherence to telecommuting policies. May involve working at project sites or vendor facilities with various environmental conditions.
