Job Description:

This position primarily involves work in the computer field, performing systems analysis, design, development, documentation, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs. The role requires an understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance practices to ensure system and data integrity. The position exercises discretion and judgment.

Scope

The Specialist I possesses a deep knowledge within a designated Information Technology (IT) area of responsibility, applied to diverse assignments. This role may involve collaboration with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and company management to drive results. It supports IT projects and may guide and share knowledge with other IT staff.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes, along with required documentation, to ensure the timely coordination and completion of project tasks.
  2. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to aligning software solutions with organizational goals.
  3. Assess business needs and guide clients towards fulfillment in a manner compliant with all legal and contractual practices.
  4. Assist in various software project aspects, including design, testing, and deployment, under senior team members' guidance to ensure successful project execution.
  5. Maintain a customer-focused approach, addressing user needs and ensuring software solutions meet end-user requirements.
  6. Produce technical documentation related to job bulletins, procedures, and practices.
  7. Participate with cross-functional team members in issue identification, process impact analysis, and solution development to optimize end-to-end solutions.
  8. Demonstrate capability in technical writing and documentation, including diagramming existing or new systems.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members, providing project updates, escalating complex problems, and seeking guidance when needed.
  10. Maintain documentation related to software development, including coding standards, procedures, and user manuals.
  11. Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in software development.
  12. Contribute ideas for process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance software applications.
  13. Participate in training and knowledge-sharing activities within the team to enhance expertise.
  14. Promote, encourage, and model Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) principles across employees and contractors.
  15. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and regulations, including data privacy and cybersecurity standards.
  16. Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.

  18. Develop and apply core skills relevant to the job.
  19. Travel may be required for business-related matters.
