Job summary

Blue Sky Innovative Solutions seeks a QA lead for Salesforce testing across OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, and Lightning components. You will design test plans, execute comprehensive testing, and build automated suites to ensure clean releases for government projects.

Candidates need a Secret clearance, Salesforce testing experience, and proficiency with automation tools. On-site positions are available at multiple DoD facilities with limited telework pending approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years in a Salesforce enterprise role with hands-on testing of OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, permissions/sharing and integrations.
• Experience with Agile and Atlassian suite including test plan development and automation.
• Alternate qualification: associate's degree plus 2 years or 4 years of extra relevant experience, or 9 years total experience.

Overview

Own quality for the program PMO's Salesforce platform. You will design and execute functional, regression, integration, security, and performance testing across Lightning components, OmniStudio, and Experience Cloud — and build the automated test suites that keep releases clean.

Locations

Arlington, VA (Crystal City); Fort Meade, MD; Chambersburg, PA (Letterkenny Army Depot); Ogden, UT (Hill AFB); or Oklahoma City, OK (Tinker AFB). On-site at a Government facility; limited local telework of unclassified work with Government approval.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Draft test plans and test cases for Lightning Web Components, OmniScripts, and Experience Cloud sites against approved wireframes.


• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across workflows, automations, and platform upgrades.


• Test security configurations, access controls, and data protection measures.


• Write and maintain automated test scripts; coordinate cross-browser and mobile compatibility testing.


• Coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders; maintain defect tracking and test reporting.

What You'll Need to Join the Team

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years of experience in a Salesforce enterprise role, with hands-on testing of OmniStudio, Experience Cloud, permissions/sharing, and integrations; Agile and Atlassian suite experience including test plan development and automation. The bachelor's may be met by an associate's + 2 years or 4 years of additional relevant experience, or 9 years of applicable experience.


• Active Secret clearance (T3 investigation; interim acceptable at start).


• Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder — required.


• Meets DoD 8140 requirements for Work Role 673, Software Test & Evaluation Specialist (Intermediate).

What Sets You Apart

• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Provar, or similar) for Salesforce.


• ISTQB certification or equivalent formal QA credential.


• Prior testing work on federal/DoD Salesforce or case-management systems.

Certifications (examples of approved options)

Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder (required). DoD 8140 WRC 673 (Intermediate) examples: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or other options in the current DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix.
