Job summary

Nuvoton Technology Corporation America, based in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced RT/Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team. You will work on BMC SOCs for enterprise servers, collaborating across software, hardware, and security teams to deliver robust firmware and tooling.

You will engage with customers, resolve issues, and contribute to open-source projects where applicable, leveraging 7+ years in embedded Linux and strong C expertise.

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; must.
• Minimum 7 years embedded Linux with debug tools.
• Strong proficiency in C programming.
• Familiarity with Linux protocols (MCTP, PLDM, SPDM) preferred.
• Knowledge of BMC firmware (OpenBMC) or similar management apps preferred.
• Knowledge in cryptography and security preferred.
• Knowledge of I2C/SMBus preferred.
• Knowledge of Rust programming preferred.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., HW debugger, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) preferred.
• Experience working with customers preferred.

Nuvoton Technology Corporation America, based in Austin Texas, is seeking an experienced RT/Embedded Firmware Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will be actively involved in customer engagements, focusing on both feature development and issue resolution for our BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) SOCs, which are extensively used in enterprise and data center servers.

As a Nuvoton employee, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create advanced embedded solutions for application processors, security processors (Caliptra, TrustZone/OPTEE), and embedded I/O processors.

Our clients include top-tier enterprise server vendors and leading cloud service providers.
