Job summary

Lam and its Global Operations Group are seeking a Software Application Engineer who will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software, supporting data-driven decision making and improved workflows across Lam's semiconductor technology stack. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate product roadmaps into robust applications using agile processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or advanced degree with related experience.
• Experience in front-end, back-end, or data analysis as indicated in the posting.
• Graduate eligible role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
• Drive adoption of internal software products across Lam.
• Collaborate with application teams and process engineers in planning, data collection, modeling, data analysis, and report results to stakeholders.
• Partner cross-functionally to understand Product roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, software requirements, and business use cases.
• Provide requirements and user stories to product managers and developers to ensure required capabilities are available for applications.
• Acts as single point of contact accountable for applications and key projects.
• Works with stakeholders to determine appropriate multi-product workflows or integration including database connections to transform data between the application and the database.
• Develop clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable application code.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to enhance functionality of software applications.
