About the role :

Based in Boston, MA, this role is responsible for increasing Thryv’s penetration into the existing client base, increasing client engagement with existing software clients, and growing the SaaS client base through new sales. This role involves nurturing relationships with current clients and identifying new opportunities to meet sales quotas. The Software Account Executive conducts more than 50% of their work outside their home office.

  • Contact assigned clients to present opportunities for additional sales or extended usage based on their needs.
  • Identify and secure new SaaS clients through prospecting methods such as networks, referrals, and company initiatives.
  • Execute operational processes with excellence, including client engagement cadences, product certifications, order entry, and intake forms.
  • Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training sessions as required.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of relevant sales experience, with 7+ preferred
  • 3+ years in an outbound full sales cycle role
  • Experience in SaaS is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Experience in enterprise sales is advantageous
  • Strong industry knowledge and ability to learn Thryv’s product suite
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and emotional intelligence skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and conduct remote sales presentations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quick learner of new systems
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
