Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and customers have a great shopping experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficient merchandising, and attentive customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will handle stocking, back-room organization, and collaboration with leadership to meet daily goals, including overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. Physical stamina is required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
