Job summary

Meijer Inc. is looking for an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and customers served with a friendly attitude. You will work on a variety of retail tasks including product placement and merchandising, often during overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

You should be comfortable with basic technology, follow processes, and enjoy teamwork. This role is physically demanding, with lifting up to 50 lbs, and contributes to a positive shopping experience for

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology
