Meijer Inc. in Austintown, OH is hiring a Softlines Clerk (Part Time) to deliver friendly, efficient service and keep shelves stocked with groceries and related products.

This entry-level role offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and room to grow within a family-owned company. You'll stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, maintain a clean and safe store, and assist customers with knowledge and a positive attitude, including overnight preparation for the day

Qualifications

• Entry level role focused on customer service, stocking and merchandising.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overnight shifts.
• Willing to learn basic technology and follow procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
