Catalent, Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking an Associate Scientist I, PD to contribute to timely development of softgel products by performing pre-formulation, formulation preparation, and analytical testing in the PD lab.

You will schedule lab work, run solubility and compatibility studies, prepare fill mixes and capsules, and support process validation while collaborating with a fast-paced team. This on-site role offers day-one benefits and opportunities to grow within Catalent's global

Qualifications

• AS degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of GMP laboratory experience or a BS in a scientific field.
• Strong scientific skills and experience with analytical equipment.
• Ability to work in a 100% on-site GMP lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-formulation, formulation preparation and testing in the PD lab.
• Schedule and perform lab work to meet project timelines.
• Perform solubility and compatibility studies.
• Prepare laboratory fill mixes and air fill capsules.
• Execute drying and other physical property tests.
• Provide training to staff and ensure quality data.
