Job summary

Cumberland Regional High School seeks a Softball Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year to support the Head Coach in training athletes to compete individually or as a team.

Applicants must hold NJ State Certification, have a successful coaching record, be familiar with injury care, and be able to pass a criminal history background check with proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency.

Qualifications

• All candidates must possess appropriate NJ State Certification.
• Available to work during assigned hours.
• All candidates must have a successful coaching and/or Athletic record to substantiate knowledge and/or coaching potential related to the sport in question.
• Familiar with the care and treatment of student injuries.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Responsibilities

Salary: Follows the established 2024-2027 CREA Athletics Extra Service Salary Guide. Stipend Ranges from $4,050 to $4,450.

Benefits: This stipend position does not include medical, prescription, or dental benefits, and does not offer paid time off.
