Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mid-level Soft Goods Product Engineer to develop and test materials for footwear, apparel, or equipment, applying systems engineering and pattern knowledge. You will work with CAD/CAM data and manufacturing processes, while coordinating with senior staff to drive solutions that meet performance criteria.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

You Have:

3+ years of experience in sof t goods manufacturing, product creation, research and development, product testing, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering

Experience in quality assurance or quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Experience with 2D or 3D pattern engineering and CAD tools used in footwear or sof t goods creation

Experience designing and manufacturing sof t goods for military products

Experience with product lifecycle management ( PLM ) systems for managing product design and development

Experience implementing design for manufacturability practices in direct collaboration with Tier 1 and 2 manufacturers

Knowledge of pattern making, materials, and construction across a variety of product types, including apparel, footwear, sof t goods, and individual equipment

Knowledge of government specifications such as P / Ds, MIL-DTLs, and MIL-PRFs

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
