Job summary

Seven Feathers in Canyonville, OR is seeking a Cash Vault Associate to count and balance canisters from Gaming machines, Table Games, and Kiosk drops under the Soft Count Supervisor. You will ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and report daily tallies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of current cash vault experience preferred.
• Banking or high-volume cash experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Count and balance canisters for Gaming machines, Table Games, and Kiosk drops.
• Sorts and counts contents using counting machines under surveillance.
• Prepare accurate, timely daily count reports.
• Follow Internal Controls and procedures while supporting the team.
• Maintain confidentiality of information across verbal, written, and electronic media.

The Position:

Under the supervision of the Soft Count Supervisor, responsible for the count process for the Gaming machines, Table Games and Kiosk drop. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sorts and counts contents of canisters using sophisticated counting machines while under continuous video and voice surveillance.
• Straps and “bricks” (bundles) currency.
• Prepares and balances accurate, legible and timely daily count reports.
• Assures that all Internal Controls, policies and procedures are followed while keeping a positive environment by working as a team member.
• Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or a GED Certificate or equivalent.
• 1 year of current cash vault experience.
• Banking or high volume retail cash experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of money straps, including their breakdown and values.
• Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work closely with other team members.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work well while under pressure.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Ability to accurately use a 10 key calculator by touch.
• Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
