Position Overview

Basic Function: Responsible for managing count room practices and procedures in accordance with industry standards. Establishes and maintains all count records and reports required by countroom procedures.

Principal Activities & Responsibilities
  1. Promote a clean, safe, healthy, and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
  2. Supervise countroom operations in accordance with internal procedures and controls.
  3. Provide excellent team member relations and professional supervision to count team members.
  4. Resolve problems, make sound decisions, exercise discretion, and refer appropriate issues to the Cage Manager.
  5. Maintain all assigned records and reports accurately and timely.
  6. Review all paperwork at the end of the shift and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
  7. Maintain security measures to protect company assets and confidential information.
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

- High School diploma or GED preferred.

- Minimum one year of cage, banking, or acceptable cash handling experience.

- Team-oriented with at least one year of supervisory experience.

- Demonstrated ability in cash and paperwork handling.

- General knowledge of cage and casino operations.

- Professional appearance and attitude.

- Must pass and remain compliant with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug-free workplace policies.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, and handle objects or controls.

- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, sit occasionally, and lift up to 40 pounds.

- Capable of managing stress and making decisions under pressure.

- Casino environment may expose to secondhand smoke.
