Job summary

Battelle Memorial Institute in Fort Bragg, NC, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to support USSOCOM POTFF initiatives, providing evaluation, treatment, and rehab of musculoskeletal conditions for SOF personnel.

The role requires licensure, ABPTS or NATA credentials preferred, and experience in sports medicine, with documentation in GENESIS and SPEAR. Ability to work in austere environments and lift up to 25 kg is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physical therapy required.
• Current licensed Physical Therapist in the US with eligibility to practice.
• Minimum five years in sports medicine/manual therapy with athletes.
• ABPTS or NATA certification preferred; CSCS a plus.
• Ability to meet physical demands and lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Evaluate and treat patients as licensed independent practitioners in military settings.
• Supervise PT staff and collaborate with HP and POTFF teams.
• Develop guidelines, perform equipment reviews, and contribute to fiscal planning.
• Document care in GENESIS and SPEAR and maintain required records.
