Job summary

A specialized training contractor is seeking a Mental Performance Coach in Colorado Springs. This role requires expertise in sports psychology and the ability to train Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a related field, ideally with 5+ years of coaching experience. Responsibilities include developing cognitive skills training and collaborating with staff to enhance performance education. The position also requires physical capability for training environments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in related field.
• Certification as a Certified Consultant (CC-AASP) is desired.
• Able to lift weights up to 25 kilograms.
• Physically capable of meeting training demands with SOF.

Responsibilities

• Train SOF personnel in cognitive skills for optimal performance.
• Educate on mental performance and emotional control.
• Participate in meetings for training enhancement.
• Support research under supervision.
• Develop training materials as requested.
