Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a SOF Logistics SME to support a federal government client. You will develop scenario-based logistics training, provide exercise design and scenario scripting, and coordinate with MARFORSOC staff and external units for logistics support.

Qualifications

• 10 years SOF logistics experience (recent within past five years) in a Special Mission Unit (SMU); U.S. Army Special Forces; Navy SEALs; MARFORSOC.
• 3 years' experience providing logistics planning support for SOCOM exercises including requesting logistics support through the Air Support Requests (ASR) and requests for support (RFS) processes and strategic mobility planning, and embarkation.
• 5 years' experience using logistics-based programs. (TAMIS, ICODES, SSDM, SMS, IBC, Tracker Light).
• Minimum of one SOF deployment coordinating U.S., coalition, and host nation resources for movement of SOF personnel and equipment.
• Familiarity with contracting process.

Responsibilities

• Develop scenario-based logistics training suited to evaluate the integration of logistics into a larger exercise in a SOF environment.
• Provide exercise design and scenario development to manage all facets of the exercise life cycle and write/adjust scenario scripting as required.
• Coordinate with MARFORSOC staff sections and external units for logistics support and briefs.
• Assist in external coordination with units and training outside of MARFORSOC.
• Support fielding requests for support (RFS) and processing Air Support Requests (ASR).
